More than 55 companies are committed to sustainably shaping the future of young people - as part of their membership in the Austrian CEOs FOR FUTURE initiative. Greiner Packaging is also part of the initiative and once again demonstrates its commitment to high-quality training for its apprentices by participating. The initiative focuses in particular on integrating future topics and sustainability into apprenticeship training, because all participating companies agree on one thing: Today's apprentices are tomorrow's skilled workers.
A total of 38 apprentices are currently being trained at Greiner Packaging.
A very important focus is on offering the next generation, our apprentices, a good education. We are proud to be able to play a part in shaping the future of our apprentices with a very comprehensive training program. Today's young people are tomorrow's decision-makers.
Manfred Stanek, CEO of Greiner Packaging International
Within the framework of CEOs for Future, opportunities are created for exchange between apprentices and business executives of the participating companies. This was also the case at the Apprentice Day on November 15, 2022, where a strong signal was sent out for apprentices and modern apprenticeship training in connection with sustainability. The focus was on climate protection, biodiversity and circular economy. And of course the exchange between the youth, CEOs and Doris Schmidauer, ambassador of the CEOs FOR FUTURE generation platform and Wolfgang Anzengruber, ambassador of the CEOs FOR FUTURE business platform. Exciting learning paths, innovative projects and important initiatives were presented and developed together.
Each of us is responsible for substantial CO2 emissions. Almost 24/7. Using the example of Felix, an average European, we examine emissions that lie behind our decisions.
