Greiner Assistec manufactured the guide rail, blinds, and end caps for a German car rear window shade for a German automotive supplier, which is assembling the rear window shade and supplying it to the car brand. Greiner Assistec's know-how positioned it perfectly to deliver the ideal plastic design for the parts: The injection-molded plastic parts were fitted precisely to each other, with special attention being paid to reducing the amount of noise the shade makes.

A measurement plan was worked out in collaboration with the automotive supplier to ensure serial production quality; the parts were also jointlyevaluated with the car brand before they were accepted as ready for production. Another issue of importance to the client is the tool engineering that European manufacturers have. Greiner Assistec was able to satisfy this requirement as well. The shade parts are finished in a variety of colors and delivered to the client in special trays.
