Bottles

The extensive packaging portfolio at Greiner Packaging also includes bottles in a wide range of shapes and sizes. We already offer the option of using up to 100 percent r-PET in this area if desired. r-PET, which is recovered from PET bottles, is currently also the only material that is approved for the food sector.

We’re seeing continually growing demand from our customers for barrier solutions – both mono and multilayer. These solutions offer an effective way of combating food waste thanks to an extended shelf life, especially for sauces and ketchup. Another possibility for the future is returnable plastic bottle systems, such as milk bottles made of Tritan or modified PET, which are also machine-washable and temperature-resistant up to 85°C.
