Irish pasture-fed milk is the secret to the special taste and excellent spreadability of Kerrygold Butter from the Irish dairy company Ornua. Whether spread on bread and pastries or as an ingredient in cooking and baking, this butter from the Emerald Isle enjoys great popularity in Germany – with or without sea salt.
Greiner Packaging provides packaging for the butter in two different sizes. In 2018, the tubs and lids were given a makeover. K3®-H trays are now used in combination with a new injection-molded lid with IML decoration. During the design process, particular attention was paid to the ease of opening and closing the lid. The redesigned packaging – which allows easy separation and recycling of cardboard and plastics – is the perfect expression of the Kerrygold brand, which prides itself on natural ingredients and a sustainable image. Kerrygold Butter has been available in its new packaging at German food outlets since September 2018.
