Greiner Packaging Receives "Lean Management Leading Company®" Award

Greiner Packaging has been honored with the "Lean Management Leading Company^®" award by StEP-Up. With our outstanding World Class Operations Management Program, we successfully competed against numerous external companies and achieved the top position.

StEP-Up provides its member companies with a platform for cross-company and cross-industry exchange of best practices. Groups of seven companies meet once a quarter at rotating host locations to share best practices. After each meeting, the presentations of all participating companies are scored. The company with the highest score after the final meeting is awarded the title "Lean Management Leader^®."

Our representatives at the 2023/2024 Circle Meetings were Cornelia Kößler (Global Lean Manager, Greiner Packaging International), Johannes Hörtenhuber (Expert Lean Management, Greiner Packaging Austria), and Roland Schulz (Global Director Operational Excellence, Greiner Packaging International). We received the award at the annual Lean Best Practice Conference, where we presented our World Class Operation Management System.

Mutual learning and development are key components of our World Class Operations Management. With numerous successful practices from our Greiner Packaging International locations, we were able to win the title.

This award is a recognition of all Greiner Packaging employees who significantly contribute to the success of World Class Operations Management with their excellent work. Our special thanks also go to Stefan Rockenschaub, Patric Eiper, Robert Pfanzagl, and Rami Makhlouf, who have actively supported us at the Circle Meetings.
